Seven Magic Mountains
1. The artist is pretty famous. 2. The sculpture provides commentary on its place in the desert off the I-15. Its material is from the desert, but it is painted unnaturally into neon colors and the stacks are visibly man-made. It is symbolic of the flux between Los Angeles and Las Vegas.
